Our main projects at NSLS II are on hold at this time. But will start again soon.
At the start of this year we started to
commission the microscope.
The first thing was to get the dual beams into
the microscope. My many thanks to Dan
Fischer, Conan, Cherno for achieving this.
The beam energies span the ranges from 80
eV to 2,000 eV, and from 2.0 keV to 7.5 keV.
This is a worlds first for a photoelectron
microscope.
It is a unique system, that has taken some
out of the box thinking by many people to get
to this stage.
We are building a new version of the
The magnet should be ready by the
end of this year.
